The EESA Energy Storage Exhibition in Shanghai brought together battery, PCS and system-integration specialists. At Booth 51A92, GRL presented the theme “High Voltage, High Current for AC and DC.”
Designed around 2000 V DC storage architectures
GRL displayed fuse switch disconnectors, high-voltage fuses and connection assemblies developed for the current demands of utility-scale and commercial storage. The technical discussions covered interrupting capability, thermal coordination, maintenance access and the interface between battery racks, DC combiner units and power-conversion systems.
- DC protection options for 1500 V and 2000 V battery systems
- High-current conductive connections with controlled temperature rise
- Serviceable switching arrangements for maintenance and isolation
GRL can review a storage single-line diagram and recommend a coordinated protection set for the battery, PCS and auxiliary circuits.
